Topaz occurs worldwide in five specimens quality crystals and gem grade stones. It crystallizes in a wide variety of geological environments which have produced a variety of habits and colors of this popular gem species. The topaz deposits of Pakistan have produced fine crystals since the 1980's while Vietnam is only beginning to be a specimen producer. #
