Many more pyrite specimens will be added later

Pyrites are found in many regions of the world. One of the common names for pyrite is "Fools Gold", despite this, good specimens are highly prized by collectors.  Some collectors specialize only in collecting the many forms of pyrite.  Pyrite is highly variable and is found in hundreds of different crystal forms each distinct from the other. Many pyrite specimens are highly decorative and keenly pursued by collectors.  Pyrite is also found in association with many other minerals like Quartz, Calcite and many others so you will find pyrite in many other pages.

Some collectors specialize in only collecting crystals of metals like gold, silver, pyrite and others.
