Hadrasaur ----Hunan Province China Ordering Information * * *Fossils Index ***Dinosaur Home Page {Hadrosaur Eggs}* {Unidentified Eggs}* {Oviraptor Eggs}* {Turtle_Eggs}* {Miscellaneous Eggs} Dinosaur eggs are considered to be extremely rare with most species of dinosaurs having had very few if any recordings of egg discoveries. The Hadrosaurs are an exception, they lived in herds and reared their eggs in huge rookeries where egg remnants and often complete eggs were fossilized in reasonable numbers. Hunan province is in a remote part of China with virtually no access to collectors so eggs are collected by locals and sent overseas. Perfect eggs are very scarce, eggs with missing shell are relatively easy to acquire and have become quite reasonably prices since they first came on the market over 10 years when they sold for $2,000 to $5,000 each. The prices we see today are the best ever and prices will soon rise as most eggs that were easily found have now been collected and the Chinese government will soon clamp down on the remaining eggs preventing their export from China.. Over the coming months these pages will contain a large selection of dinosaur eggs from around the world. Please email us if you would like to be notified when these pages come fully on line.
