Tom Kapitany

Born in 1960, Tom Kapitany is the driving force behind the development of the Gems, Fossils and Minerals. Together with Jonathan Fell, they make a formidable force with their combined knowledge of these subjects.
Has studied Botany and earned a Degree in Geology at Melbourne University and has since, spend his time assisting in the development of Collectors Corner and Paradisia.
He is a world traveller and spends a reasonable amount of the year visiting collection sites around the world, investigating new areas and attending gem shows. Being our main buyer and valuer of Gems, Fossils and Minerals, he has a great nose for bargains. Pages will eventually be set up summarizing his escapades.
Tom can be met at many of the large gems shows in Tucson, Munich, Denver and Tokyo.
In 1999 Tom opened a new business called Crystal World & Prehistoric Journeys, this has now given us the ability to expand the gemstone side of the business far beyond the retail operation of the past 12 years. Shortly a new web site will be published that will offer our new and expanded product range to the world.
