The Miltonias (Miltoniopsis) we know today are a group of South American orchids that have been extensively hybridised over the past 100 years with many new and spectacular hybrids having been created. Many Miltonias are well suited for indoor conditions in most cooler climates around the world and have a similar requirement as that of African Violets.
