The amazing bladderworts, this genus has managed to modify its roots into small aquatic traps that can capture small, mostly microscopic insects, the species above is U livida.  The flower is on 3mm across and the leaves on the ground only 2mm across.  These plants grow as runners on the soil surface.

An example of a larger flowering species, U pubescens.

Some species can put on an amazing show of flowers, This 12cm pot of U sandersonii carried hundreds of flowers.
